Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Tech to maintain and troubleshoot a variety of manufacturing equipment in a fast paced plant. The role requires ensuring food safety, quality, and adherence to SQF/HACCP standards, while supporting operators and supervisors with technical root-cause fixes.

You will interpret electrical schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and install or modify systems.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical prints and schematics.
• Understand Plant electrical systems 24 V to 660 V and conduit wiring.
• Experience with PLCs, control circuits, and automated equipment.
• Follow HACCP, GMP, and SQF food-safety practices.
• Able to read English or Spanish and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical components on manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance per the PM schedule.
• Provide technical support to operators and supervisors.
• Ensure safety policies and HACCP/GMP compliance.
• Train new junior staff within the department.
