Job summary

Innomotics Kansas City is seeking a Motor Technician to support our local facility. You will dismantle, inspect, repair, connect, reassemble and test a variety of electrical and mechanical motors and equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong mechanical aptitude, and hands-on ability with tools and electrical systems. You may need to join the local collective bargaining unit upon hire, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in related field.
• High School Diploma completed.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, inspect, repair, connect, reassemble, and test apparatus and a variety of electrical and mechanical apparatus of complex design and construction where general methods and procedures are not clearly defined.
• Wind, insulate and connect all types of AC and DC motors, generators, and other electrical apparatus where procedures are generally not established, where manufacturing information and specifications may not be available and where planning and diagnosing is required for repair.
• Guide and direct the efforts of assisting personnel.
