Kion Group AG is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 for our Dallas-area operations. The role involves day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on Material Handling Equipment, with reporting to the Northlake, TX site and dispatch to other nearby sites as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma (associate degree or technical training preferred), 2–3 years in electro-mechanical troubleshooting, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking and component replacement.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance routines and document results.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot circuitry.
• Create and close work orders with labor hours, parts, and data.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and determine resources needed.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory and report status.
• Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.

## Electro - Mechanical Technician 3Apply: Customer Site: Dallas, TX, United States: Full time: Posted Today: JR-0094106The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. This technician will report to the Northlake, TX location and then be dispatched to other sites in the area as needed to assist them if needed. Shift and Hours will change frequently due to filling in at various sites and supporting their schedule. When filling in, will report to the Northlake site, working 8 hours per day. Shift coverage may vary based on the site's needs. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.# **Tasks and Qualifications:****What You Will Do In This Role*** Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc.* Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.* Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.* Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.* Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.* Locate and track spare parts from inventory.* Performs routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.* Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.* Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.* Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations.**What We Are Looking For*** High School diploma or equivalent required. Typically, an associate degree or vocational technical training is preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred.* 2-3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.* Proven experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.* Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.* Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.* Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.* Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.* Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.* Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10–12 hours.* Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.
