Job summary

Amcor is seeking an entry level to competent Maintenance Electromechanic I to perform preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment. You will follow standard work directions and respond to day-to-day tasks under supervision.

The role requires basic mechanical and electrical skills, with 2–4 years in industrial settings. Candidates should be able to work overtime and participate in on-call rotations, ensuring equipment reliability and safe plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to four years of industrial experience with mechanical aptitude.
• Trade school or college training preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and rotate on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and corrects mechanical, electrical, and process problems to keep production equipment running.
• Provides 24/7 technical support for production.
• Inspects production lines and equipment for maintenance needs.
• Assists with installation and upgrades of equipment and building support systems.
