Job summary

SCRAM Systems in Durham, NC seeks an Electric/Electronics Technician I to perform manufacturing and repair duties on electronic devices, using computers, soldering irons, and diagnostic equipment. Reading schematics and following work instructions are essential for success in a team production setting.

The role includes light troubleshooting of IID devices, data collection for analysis, and ensuring quality across multiple device types.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Associates Degree or Equivalent in Electronic Course Track (Preferred).
  • 2-5 years’ experience in Electronic Troubleshooting (Preferred).
  • Fundamental computer skills for diagnostic testing (Preferred).
  • IPC A-610 Class I Certification (Preferred).
  • Hand soldering experience (Required).
  • Color Vision (Required).

Responsibilities

  • Repair electronic devices and assemblies per manuals and schematics.
  • Perform light troubleshooting of field returned devices.
  • Work independently or in a team within a production environment.
  • Follow supervisor instructions and ensure data collection accuracy.
