Advantage Technical is seeking an Elector/Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced, highly automated cold storage facility. The role requires a CMRT certification or equivalent and hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance experience in automation.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing conveyors, palletizers, VFDs and sensors, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting safety initiatives. Travel may be required for site operations and special projects.

Qualifications

• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) certification or equivalent required.
• Additional formal training in mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or related disciplines preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience in an automated facility.
• Strong experience troubleshooting and maintaining conveyors, palletizers, stretch wrappers, label printers, cranes, shuttles, VFDs, servo motors, and sensors.
• Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety practices, arc flash protection, and PPE requirements.
• Experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in highly automated systems.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and vision systems preferred.
• Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS); SAP or Oracle experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to interpret equipment diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems within a highly automated cold storage facility.
• Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and rebuild automated equipment including conveyors, turntables, palletizers, and related systems.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, productivity, and system efficiency.
• Document maintenance activities accurately using a computerized maintenance management system.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures and follow all electrical and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Travel by automobile or airplane as required to support facility operations.
• Assist with special projects and additional maintenance assignments as needed.
• Support overall facility performance by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment availability.
