Job summary
NewCold is hiring an Automation Technician to maintain and repair a wide range of warehouse equipment across all shifts. You will ensure reliable operation of conveyors, cranes, refrigeration-related systems, and general facility components while upholding health and safety standards.
The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical, electrical and facilities maintenance background, 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, and experience with automated equipment such as conveyors, ASRS, and
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of work experience in industrial maintenance or related field.
- Hands-on mechanical, electrical and facilities maintenance background.
- Automated equipment maintenance experience preferred (conveyors, automated cranes, palletizers, ASRS).
- PLC experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair a broad range of warehouse equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance and repairs with minimal disruption to operations.
- Coordinate with Planners and System Operators about downtime and repairs.
- Report, plan and track maintenance issues using maintenance software.
- Ensure OSHA and company safety policies are followed on site.
