Colonial Group seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician/Assembler in Dayton, OH to build, test, and qualify performance of machines and sub-assemblies in a team environment. You will apply electro-mechanical practices to ensure high accuracy and adherence to quality standards on customer orders.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Service, and Production to drive Lean manufacturing practices, maintain ITL logs, and support on-time delivery with occasional travel up to 5-10% as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; trade school/associates degree preferred.
• Experience in special machine assembly and troubleshooting (mechanical and electrical).
• Lean manufacturing environment experience with Standard Work Procedures, 5S, and waste reduction.

Responsabilités

• Timely execution of the Master Production Schedule, delivering a quality product on-time.
• Perform machine assembly, debugging, and system performance testing with lean principles.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Software, Service, and Supply Chain to drive continuous product improvement.
• Update Issue Tracking Log (ITL) to support non-conformance handling.
• Maintain availability for Field Service Engineering, with 5–10% travel as needed.
