Job summary

Ardagh Group is seeking a qualified maintenance mechanic for our high-speed, 24/7 glass packaging production line in Bridgeton, NJ. The role focuses on setup, maintenance, and repair of conveyors, ovens, sprays, and printers to ensure continuous production and quality.

Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness are essential. Applicants should have 5+ years in manufacturing, be able to lift 50 lbs, and pass a Mechanical Comprehension Test with at least 70%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Manufacturing/Industrial experience
• 70% score on the Mechanical Comprehension Test required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs+
• Exposed to moderate to high noise levels
• Rotating swing shift; High School diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe work environment with good housekeeping
• Set up, adjust, maintain and operate equipment (conveyors, sprays, ovens, printers)
• Maintain machinery and equipment for maximum production and quality
• Analyze mechanical or operational issues and implement running adjustments
