Job summary

U.S. Boiler Company, LLC in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee union-hourly workers in the manufacturing of parts and products. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience and is mechanically inclined with a background in manufacturing.

Qualifications

One year certificate from college or technical school, or 3–6 months related experience and/or training.
Experience with hand and power tools.
One year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Directly supervises employees according to company policies and procedures, including interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Interprets and coordinates material and production needs with scheduling; ensures production targets are met.
Maintains time and production records; prepares production and inventory reports as required.
Coordinates with purchasing to expedite materials as plans change; backflush work orders for assigned production parts; manage transfer and purchase orders.
