Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. in Irving, TX, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician for the 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM).

The role provides leadership to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve process and packaging equipment to maximize production while upholding safety and quality standards. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, teach operator skills for autonomous maintenance, and participate in TPM and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience maintaining, troubleshooting, & repairing mechanical & electrical/controls/PLC systems.
• Rockwell/Allen-Bradley experience required, including FactoryTalk and Logix.
• Filler equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand prints, flowcharts, block diagrams, and schematics.
• Ability to use precision testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Punctual and team-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.
• Focus on Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices in all work.
• Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs.
• Wire moderately complex control circuits.
• Teach basic mechanical skills to line operators for autonomous maintenance and TPM.
• Fabricate, repair, and install piping for process and condensate systems.
• Learn to weld and machine metals, plastics, and composites.
• Complete size changeovers and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.
• Identify root causes of failures and resolve with problem-solving tools with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and program minor changes in Allen Bradley PLC.
• Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.
• Demonstrate KDP values of Team First, Deliver Big, Think Bold, Being Fearless and Fair.
