Job summary

Physical Sciences Inc. in Wilmington, MA, seeks an engineering technician to join Sensor Systems, a segment of the Detection Systems Division, for immediate production support of mobile and static R/N detection systems.

You will work with the engineering team to assemble next-generation radiological and nuclear systems and improve manufacturing procedures and documentation. The role requires hands-on problem-solving, strong communication, and a willingness to wear multiple hats on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on problem solving and assembly experience.
• Experience with mechanical and cable assemblies, wiring, and electronics.
• Ability to communicate concepts and results to the team and customers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Experience with supply chain management.
• Experience with product inspection and quality control.
• Willingness to learn on-the-job skills and wear multiple hats.
• Desirable: SolidWorks CAD software experience.

Sensor Systems, a segment of PSI's Detection Systems Division and located just north of Boston in Wilmington, MA, seeks a skilled engineering technician for employment immediately in support of production projects for mobile and static radiological and nuclear (R/N) material detection systems. The candidate will work directly with the engineering team to assemble next generation R/N systems and improve manufacturing procedures and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on, problem-solving experience
• Experience with mechanical and cable assemblies, wiring, and electronics
• Solid ability to communicate concepts, ideas, and results to the team and customers
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Experience with hand tools
• Experience with supply chain management
• Experience with product inspection and quality control
• Willingness to learn on-the-job skills and wear multiple 'hats'
• Desirable: Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks

Pay Range:

The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $75K-$100K. The actual salary offered will depend on the candidate’s experience, education, and specialized skills.
