Job summary

Industrial Service & Machine INC. seeks a full-time electro-mechanical technician for first shift (Mon-Fri, 40 hours). Requires an associate degree or equivalent and electro-mechanical experience.

You will read electrical schematics, work with a team to solve issues, and operate measuring tools and shop equipment. Training on software, startup, tuning, and field installations is included.

Qualifications

• Self-starter, able to work well without close direction.
• Must have electro-mechanical experience.
• To communicate honestly, openly, and effectively (both verbally and in writing) to customers and fellow workers.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Work with other team members to resolve problems as they arrive.
• Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, transit, and dial indicators.
• Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand or power tools.
• Operate metalworking machines (bench lathe, milling machine, drill press).
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move assemblies or products.
• Assemble electrical control panels and perform wiring.
• Install and configure related software for equipment.
• Machine startup, debugging and tuning.
• Become knowledgeable with current controls.
• Complete inspections and QC checklist.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform machine installations or retrofits at customer sites.
