Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 4

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 4 is responsible for troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on Automated Storage and Retrieval machines. Acts as a senior material handling technician at the Trenton, Ohio site, mentoring lower-level employees. The role involves a rotating 3-2-2-3, 12-hour night shift from 6 pm to 6 am, with potential overtime.

Tasks and Qualifications

What You Will Do in This Role

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including component adjustments, replacements, and lubrication.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Create and close work orders with accurate data in the asset management system, including labor hours, maintenance, and parts used.
• Troubleshoot conveyance problems and determine resource needs.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Perform complex maintenance and testing to ensure equipment meets specifications.
• Assist in training customers to operate equipment.
• Respond to service calls to correct equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate corrective actions.

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or vocational training preferred. Specialized skill training/certification is a plus.
• 5-7 years of experience demonstrating senior-level knowledge in a technical or specialized area.
• Proven experience in the responsibilities outlined above.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, leadership, and technicians via email and in person.
