This senior-level maintenance professional is responsible for performing advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on complex industrial equipment, facility systems, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical and mechanical expertise and have experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
This role serves as a technical leader within the maintenance department, providing mentorship to junior technicians, coordinating contractor activities, supporting capital improvement projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Maintenance Technician III plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance.
Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of facility and production equipment, including:
Lead complex equipment installations, upgrades, retrofits, and facility improvement projects.
Develop, implement, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Troubleshoot and resolve critical equipment failures with minimal supervision.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to Maintenance Technicians I and II.
Coordinate and oversee work performed by contractors, vendors, and third-party service providers.
Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history files, and service documentation within CMMS systems.
Support capital improvement projects and assist in evaluating new equipment purchases and facility upgrades.
Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and applicable regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, and EPA standards.
Participate in emergency response activities and on-call rotations as required.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall facility performance.
Additional compensation may be available for candidates who possess current, active licenses or certifications, including Master Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, and other applicable trade credentials.
