Job summary

Acro Service Corp is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to support prototype development in a laboratory setting. You will assemble prototypes, fabricate cables and harnesses, perform electrical testing, and troubleshoot while following ESD, FOD, and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma (associates preferred) and 2–3 years of hands-on lab or aerospace/defense experience. Eligible candidates should have strong attention to detail and the ability to read engineering

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required; SAP access eligibility.
• 2-3 years hands-on lab/manufacturing/prototype experience in aerospace/defense or similar environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Experience with mechanical/electromechanical assembly and testing; cable/harness work and CCAs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prototypes and perform electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Fabricate cables and harnesses; handle CCAs.
• Apply adhesives, Loctite, epoxies, and torque specifications.
• Maintain engineering documentation and ensure ESD/FOD and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate systems and meet quality standards.

The role involves assembling prototypes, cable and harness fabrication, electrical testing, troubleshooting, handling circuit card assemblies (CCAs), applying adhesives and torque specifications, maintaining engineering documentation, and collaborating with engineers while adhering to ESD, FOD, quality, and safety standards. An Active Secret Clearance and eligibility for SAP access are required.

Skills Required

• Active Secret Security Clearance (required)
• Mechanical and electromechanical assembly experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments
• Experience applying Loctite, epoxies, adhesives, and greases
• Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) procedures

Experience Required
