We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Technician to oversee facility maintenance, manufacturing equipment, and machine processes. The role involves scheduling repairs, collaborating with the site manager to improve operational efficiency, and executing technical tasks related to equipment maintenance and tooling. The technician will also provide support to Blow Molding and Injection Molding Technicians.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and company policies.
• Lead and assist technicians in work assignments, documentation, and downtime reporting.
• Improve safety procedures and adhere to OSHA standards.
• Schedule and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and installations to ensure continuous production.
• Evaluate work orders and prioritize tasks based on technical expertise and availability.
• Collaborate with management to resolve maintenance issues and improve equipment conditions.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Inspect machines and equipment for operational standards compliance.
• Research and select cost-effective, high-quality maintenance methods and suppliers.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and diagnose issues.
• Participate in capital expenditure planning and recommend future investments.
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies for projects.
• Assist in staff training on best practices for changeover, setup, and operation of machinery.
• Manage facilities duties such as landscaping, janitorial, carpentry, HVAC, and security.
• Inspect and maintain building and equipment; maintain accurate records and reports.
• Travel may be required to support other locations.
• Weekend and evening work may be necessary.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Technical or Vocational degree/certificate with 10+ years of manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mechanical principles, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, OSHA 70E, and NFPA standards.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical machinery and PLC-controlled equipment.
