Candidates will have a proven track record in control engineering. Qualified candidates are proficient in PLC communications, Equipment Management Software. Crafting schematic and panel assembly drawings, working with PLCs and HMIs, and implementation and commissioning of engineering design projects. Acts as a material handling technician on all equipment that is installed. This is a rotating shift working from 7:00 am -7:30 pm. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

The base pay range for this role is $28 - $33.50 per hour, estimated at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc.
  • Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
  • Use electrical test equipment to tackle electrical circuitry.
  • Create and close work orders into the asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
  • Solve semi-complex problems and understand the resources needed to resolve them.
  • Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory.
  • Performs routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Respond to service calls and accurate equipment failures and faults.
  • Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to tackle them.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

What We Are Looking For:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience is a must. Typically, an associate degree or vocational-technical training is helpful. Niche skill training/certification preferred.
  • 2-3 years of solving electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
  • Confirmed experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.
  • Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
  • Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
  • Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
  • Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10–12 hours.
  • Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as the need arises.
