Job summary

WITRON is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to support a highly automated distribution center environment in Aurora, CO. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and PLC-based system support to keep material handling and automation equipment running at peak performance.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with 480V electrical systems, conveyors, and motors, and can read electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or Electro-Mechanical Technician.
• Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting (480V, 3-phase, controls) and mechanical systems (motors, gearboxes, conveyors).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams; experience in warehouse/manufacturing/distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automated systems.
• Work on conveyors, motors, sensors, PLCs, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (3-phase, 480V), VFDs, and mechanical equipment.
• Support operations by minimizing downtime in a fast-paced distribution center.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Use CMMS systems to track maintenance activities.
