Job summary

Dematic Corp. in Minden, NV is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 to perform day-to-day troubleshooting, flow control and preventative/predictive maintenance on Material Handling Equipment.

This PM shift runs from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, Saturday through Tuesday, with overtime possible. You will create and close work orders, locate spare parts, and resolve equipment faults while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
• Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders and navigate confined spaces safely.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Build and close work orders in the asset management system with data such as labor hours and parts used.
• Troubleshoot basic conveyance problems and identify spare parts in inventory.
• Respond to service calls and address equipment faults in a timely manner.
