Job summary

Electro-Mechanic 3C at Kohler Co. operates onsite in Kohler, WI. The role involves electrical/electronic and mechanical diagnostics, PLC/CNC/robotic controls, and preventive maintenance on process machinery. Willingness to use CMMS and read diagrams is essential.

The 3C shift runs 4 days on, 4 days off, from 6:30PM to 6:48AM. Eligible candidates receive a $3,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits and opportunity for growth within Kohler’s manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred or in progress.
• Journeyman Electrician certification or in progress preferred.
• Experience with PLCs, schematics and motor controls.
• Experience with SAP or MS Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical/electronic and mechanical diagnostics and repairs to process machinery, equipment and controls.
• Repair electrical equipment within department responsibility.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on specified machinery and equipment.
• Read ladder diagrams, electronic schematics and engineering drawings.
• Repair PLC, CNC, and robotic equipment and controls.
• Perform mechanical alignment of spindles, slides and ways.
• Repair hydraulic and pneumatic valves and controls, pumps and regulators.
• Inspect hoists, cables, hooks, shafts, packing and valves on hoist equipment.
• Apply lubrication to equipment on scheduled basis.
• Utilize CMMS to create work notifications, order parts and print work orders.
• Follow all safety regulations and maintain quality standards.
