Job summary

Magnum Venus Products (MVP) is a global manufacturer delivering fluid movement and production solutions for industrial applications. The Electro-Mechanical Integration Technician assembles, wires, tears down, and installs large custom automation systems at MVP’s facility and at customer sites, following mechanical drawings and BOMs.

This hands-on role requires reading electrical schematics, wiring experience, and travel to customer locations for installations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electro-mechanical or automation build experience.
• Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on experience with machine wiring and system assembly.
• Comfortable working in both shop and customer environments.
• Willingness to travel for installations (25-40%).

Responsibilities

• Assemble large, custom automation systems from mechanical drawings and BOMs.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly including frames, guarding, motion systems, and material-handling components.
• Wire control panels and field devices per electrical schematics.
• Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, labeling, and termination.
• Install and connect sensors, motors, drives, valves, actuators, and safety devices.
• Route and install pneumatic and hydraulic tubing and hoses.
• Support mechanical and electrical checkout activities.
• Identify drawing discrepancies, missing components, or integration issues and communicate with engineering.
• Participate in factory testing, dry runs, and system verification prior to shipment.
• Disassemble systems in a controlled, documented manner for shipment.
• Reassemble and install systems at customer sites following drawings and installation plans.
• Verify wiring, alignment, and assembly during on-site installation.
• Support startup, commissioning, and site acceptance testing alongside engineering.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues during build and installation.
