Job summary

Magnum Systems is seeking a Systems Technician to provide hands-on electrical work and support for automation projects in manufacturing environments. The role combines field service, panel assembly, and commissioning, leveraging PLC/HMI programming and AutoCAD skills.

The position emphasizes design support, drawing creation, and collaboration with engineering teams on client projects across North America. Full-time on-site work with opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

A.A.S. degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Manufacturing required.
Military training or certification in electrical or computer field in lieu of an A.A.S. degree.

Responsibilities

Assist with design, development, testing and implementation for client projects.
Assist Engineering Team with AutoCad drafting.
Assist Engineering Team with PLC and HMI software development.
Assist Engineering Team with system commissioning at customer facilities.
Perform field service on control systems.
Create and edit control drawings and other technical documentation for client projects.
Assemble, wire, and test control panels and related components in shop and field settings.
Provide field service and troubleshooting support for client incident jobs.
Interact with project team members throughout the project.
