Job summary

Maury Microwave Corporation in California seeks an Electro/Mechanical RF Engineer to develop measurement solutions for wireless systems using microwave theory and mechanical design. You will assist in assembling and testing hardware and software products while supporting production with troubleshooting and shipments.

Minimum qualifications include a B.S. in electrical/Computer engineering or related field, hands-on lab experience with analyzers and meters, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field.
• Hands-on with lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNA.
• Understanding microwave network theory and analog/digital communication concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience documenting test procedures or validation results.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities.
• Aptitude and desire to learn in a technical field.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PPT, and MS Teams.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D with assembly and RF testing of prototype assemblies.
• Support production with assembly and RF testing of production assemblies.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to characterize RF systems.
• Develop and document RF test procedures for engineering and production environments.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to improve manufacturability and reliability.
• Assist CAD team with drawings as needed.
• Manage small projects or multi-step tasks for R&D.
