Job summary

Mu-Del Electronics in Manassas, VA is seeking an RF Electronics Test Technician to test, tune, and troubleshoot millimeter-wave components and sub-systems from DC to 40 GHz. You will record data, generate performance reports, and ensure ESD and configuration management compliance.

Collaborate with engineers for root cause analysis, handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate strong debugging, communication, and learning skills. The role requires US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth understanding of RF concepts such as impedance matching, impedance transformation, distributed systems, passive RLC and resonant circuits, noise, linearity, bandwidth, and stability.
• Ability to learn RF filter tuning (lumped component and cavity).
• Experience with RF and microwave test equipment including network analyzers and spectrum analysis; familiarity with RF tuning and filter testing is a plus.
• Excellent hardware and software debugging skills.
• Strong self-learning capability with high attention to detail.
• Excellent people, written and communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, innovative environment and take initiative in a team setting.

Mu-Del Electronics in looking for a RF Electronics Test Technician to test, tune, and troubleshoot millimeter-wave active/passive components and sub-systems covering a wide frequency spectrum from DC to 40 GHz, including RF switches, Up/Down Converters and Multicouplers. The technician will record and maintain test data, generate performance reports, and follow configuration management and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols. The candidate must be able to manage, track, and execute multiple priorities within schedule requirements. The technician will collaborate with engineers to perform root cause analysis and recommend design or process improvements.

Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
