Advantage Technical in Salem, NH is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Repair Technician to troubleshoot, repair, assemble, and test aerospace, defense, and electronic equipment.

The role requires reading schematics, using hand tools and test equipment, and following ESD and safety procedures. You will document repairs and support continuous improvements in a collaborative, low-stress environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with electro‑mechanical assembly, repair, or testing.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with ESD procedures and electronic testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on returned customer products.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Conduct product testing and inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment, including multimeters.
• Follow ESD, quality, and safety procedures throughout the repair and assembly process.
• Document repairs, inspections, and testing results accurately.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Looking for a hands‑on technical role in a low‑stress work environment? Job Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on returned customer products
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Conduct product testing and inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment, including multimeters
• Follow ESD, quality, and safety procedures throughout the repair and assembly process

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and participate in team lifts up to 100 lbs
