Neros is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to own electro-mechanical build quality across the factory, working with manufacturing and engineering to contain issues, find root causes, and ensure each unit performs in contested environments.

The role requires a practical background in electro‑mechanical hardware, GD&T and metrology, and proficiency in SQL and Python for data-driven decisions. You will drive process improvements and ensure inspections meet stringent standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering.
• 2+ years in quality, manufacturing, reliability, or design on electro-mechanical hardware.
• Experience with GD&T and metrology (calipers, height gauges, CMM, visual inspection).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis of production data.

Responsabilidades

• Own day-to-day electro-mechanical build quality across the factory as go-to engineer for assemblies.
• Act as first responder for quality issues on the line: contain defects and run MRB.
• Lead root cause investigations with engineering and verify fixes on the line.
• Track FPY, Pareto, scrap and rework, and use SPC to catch drift early.
• Run regular build quality reviews and drive top defects to closure.
• Add inline checks and error-proofing based on data insights.
• Feed defect data back to engineering to improve manufacturability (DFQ).
• Create and maintain inspection plans and first article inspections.
• Review work instructions to keep requirements clear and verifiable.
• Certify inspectors and audit measurement/calibration programs across the factory.
