Job summary

Neros is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to own electronics quality across our factory, from PCBA to battery packs. You will lead defect containment, root cause investigations, and drive QC metrics and dashboards in production.

You will partner with manufacturing and engineering to implement DFQ during Neros’ ramping production, ensure IPC/ESD compliance, and mentor the quality team as we scale. A strong electronics background and hands-on leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a quality, manufacturing, reliability, or electrical design engineering role supporting electronics production
• Experience with SMT processes and inspection and their defect modes
• Track record of RCCA to closure and PFMEA/ SPC practices

Responsibilities

• Own electronics quality across the factory as the technical authority on workmanship and acceptance
• Act as first responder for quality issues on the line and drive nonconformances
• Lead MRB for electronics nonconformances and containment of high-impact escapes
• Lead root cause investigations and verify fixes on the line
• Define electronics quality metrics and SPC strategy, integrate with production systems
• Run build quality reviews with production and engineering leadership
• Set the inspection and test strategy for electronics and when to remove inspection
• Drive design for quality during new product introduction and changes
• Own the factory ESD control plan and IPC certification program
• Mentor quality engineers and technicians and scale the team
