Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler Technician – Level 2 in Wendell, NC, 1st shift. You will assemble, wire, and prepare industrial control panels for electrical substations, supporting medium-voltage distribution equipment and protection systems.

The role requires reading schematics, DIN rail/cable duct work, and performing guided subassembly with torque tools. Shift hours are 7:30 am–4:00 pm, with an hourly rate of $22.46.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Reading mechanical elevation drawings and DIN rail/cable duct work.
• Experience with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use torque tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform subassembly and final mechanical assembly of industrial control panels.
• Wire, route, dress, and terminate wiring and large power cables as per drawings.
• Install DIN rail and cable duct per layouts and elevations.
• Read schematics and wiring diagrams to complete panel assembly and wiring.
• Set torque values with torque tools and record job data.
• Follow safety and production processes in manufacturing operations.
