Job summary

Siemens in Wendell, NC is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Assembler Technician for 1st shift to build, wire, and test industrial control panels powering automation systems. You will read layouts, install components, and route wiring while following documented safety and production processes.

Strong mechanical skills and ability to work from schematics are essential. Work hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm; hourly rate starts at $20.36.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing and speaking.
• Ability to lift parts or subassemblies up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Preferred technical degrees and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform subassembly and final mechanical assembly of industrial control panels.
• Cut, strip, crimp, route, and dress wiring and large power cables.
• Install components and apply documented crimping methods.
• Read BOMs, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts for assembly.
• Set and use torque wrenches and record job transactions.
• Follow safety and production processes and support panel assembly ops.
