Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Auburn, WA. This electro-mechanical role supports manufacturing operations, repairs equipment, and tracks parts usage. Day shift is 3:00 am–3:30 pm with rotating days.

An Associate degree is preferred and a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing maintenance is expected. Responsibilities include diagnosing complex problems, performing setup changes, reading blueprints, and training Level I technicians.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field is desired.
• Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Must be available for regular standby assignments; overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Willing to attend training sessions, including out of state locations.
• Able to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics.
• Ability to assist in Training Level I Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components in top operating condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks following instructions.
• Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, sensors, and drives.
• Enter all work completed in computer-based maintenance program.
• Monitor spare parts usage and complete parts order forms.
• Adjust equipment based on SPC data and collaborate with QA.
• Train Level I Technicians in complex tasks.
