Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift

Job Description Summary
The Maintenance Technician safely and independently performs preventive, routine, and reactive maintenance tasks. This role is at Metem, a GE Power business that offers cooling hole technologies to increase engine efficiency in power generation and aerospace industries. We provide a comprehensive suite of non-conventional and conventional machining services in an environmentally conscious manner.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform predictive, preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC machines.
• Repair, assemble, and install electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Calibrate process control equipment and instrumentation.
• Rebuild, install, and make field repairs on centrifugal and diaphragm pumps.
• Maintain motor starters, variable frequency drives, and servo controls.
• Install piping, conduit, and raceway systems.
• Perform facilities and building maintenance.
• Document work activities using CMM.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Associate degree or Trade School certification in a technical field with at least 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of maintenance experience.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person due to export restrictions.
• Ability to work the 3rd shift (10 pm - 6 am).
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Willing to use specialized PPE, including arc flash and fall protection gear.
• Adherence to all safety rules and PPE requirements.

Desired Characteristics

• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and specifications.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles.
• Proficiency with electro-mechanical systems, servos, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and controls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLC, CNC, and electronic controls.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.

Additional Information

• 3rd shift differential pay of 10%.

• Base hourly pay range: $30 - $45/hr, with shift differential.
