Qualifications

Join Our Team as an Electro-Mechanical Technician!

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for mechanical systems and electrical circuits? We’re looking for an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll help maintain and improve the performance of our automated electromechanical equipment.

What You’ll Do

  • Install, inspect, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment used in extrusion, thermoforming, and automatic padding processes
  • Diagnose and fix issues with PLCs, HMIs, AC and DC motor drives, process heating systems, feedback control circuits, and more
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and basic calibration on production equipment
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Work with NEC codes where applicable
  • Operate forklifts, yard equipment, and shop tools safely and effectively
  • Participate in safety inspections, observations, and JSA risk assessments
  • Conduct food safety and defense inspections and report deficiencies

Required

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical setting
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and motor control systems
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with electrical multi-meters, megger insulation testers, and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

  • Completion of a trade school program or Associate’s degree in a related field
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) applications in a facility environment
  • Experience with thermoforming, laminating, or extrusion equipment is a plus
