Job summary

Thisiscny in Auburn, NY is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment on day shift. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and conveyors, and document maintenance activities.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or technical diploma and 2+ years in industrial maintenance, with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or electro-mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of motors, VFDs, controls, and PLCs; Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and related components.
• Diagnose and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems, instrumentation, controls, and automated equipment.
• Complete work orders, PM documentation, and maintenance records while identifying root causes of recurring equipment issues.
• Support equipment installations, continuous improvement initiatives, and safe operations, including OSHA and lockout/tagout requirements.

Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician ($35-45 p/hr)

We have an exciting opportunity available for an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to work for a stable and growing manufacturer in the Auburn, NY area.

Day Shift: M-F 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Duties Include:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and related components.
