Sapphire Recruitment Pty in Auburn, NY is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a day shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM). The role focuses on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of production equipment and facility systems.

Candidates should have an associate degree or technical diploma and 2+ years in industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical work, with strong electrical troubleshooting and PLC experience (Allen-Bradley preferred).

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical diploma or equivalent experience in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
2+ years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or electro-mechanical experience preferred.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with motors, VFDs, controls, and PLCs; Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment and read schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and related components.
Diagnose and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems, instrumentation, controls, and automated equipment.
Complete work orders, PM documentation, and maintenance records while identifying root causes of recurring equipment issues.
Support equipment installations and safe operations in line with OSHA and lockout/tagout requirements.
