Job summary

Ravago Americas is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Baytown, TX to maintain packaging lines, conveyors, and related equipment. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

The role requires measurement using test instruments, reading schematics, and basic PLC/HMI diagnostics, with strong focus on safety and documentation in CMMS. Local manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Minimum three years in industrial maintenance.
• Knowledge: Mechanical/electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, VFDs; basic PLC diagnostics.
• Language: English required; bilingual English-Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on packaging lines and material-handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical failures.
• Read electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals to diagnose issues.
• Do basic PLC/HMI diagnostics and assist with controls changes per site procedures.
• Maintain CMMS records and communicate status with operations.
