Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician 1M to perform advanced scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency tasks on electro‑mechanical equipment. You will minimize downtime and support quality and productivity in designated areas.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical machine control failures, using PLC/HMI tools, and documenting work in Limble CMMS. Candidates should have 5+ years in heavy manufacturing and strong safety/compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

5+ years in a heavy mechanical/electrical manufacturing environment.
Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
Extensive background with AC/DC motors, pumps, drives, inverters, gearboxes, PLCs, and HMIs.
Knowledge of TPM, Lean, or other continuous improvement processes.
Excellent reading of technical documents, drawings, and schematics.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical machine control issues, motors, switches, switchboards, and automated machines.
Diagnose with schematics, drawings, layouts, meters, PLC faults, and HMIs.
Reduce downtime through proactive maintenance and collaboration with production.
Assist engineers in diagnosing problems and suggest corrective actions.
Document all work in Limble CMMS per work-order guidelines.
Adhere to OSHA, H&S, and EPA regulations; perform housekeeping tasks.
