Job summary

bioMérieux in Ballwin, MO seeks an experienced technician to evaluate, refurbish, assemble, align, and test automated electro-mechanical biological test systems at an advanced level. You will support filling and packaging operations, maintain documentation, and conduct complex electro-mechanical assembly tasks while adhering to GMP and quality standards.

Responsibilities include training colleagues, performing advanced tests, and ensuring proper documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience troubleshooting and/or assembling electromechanical equipment, ideally medical devices or instruments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for filling, packaging equipment & instrument manufacturing, assisting in improvement of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of engineering activities, including process improvements and repair activities, to support operational transparency.
• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature
• Ensures proper completion of supporting documentation, following GMP guidelines.
• Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians
• Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
