Job summary

AW Machinery LLC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician to support design, manufacturing, installation, and customer service of custom machinery. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement as you work with cross-functional teams to keep machines performing at peak levels.

Responsibilities include field commissioning, troubleshooting, and training end-users while maintaining rigorous documentation and professional communication with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in mechatronics, technical training or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in field service or equivalent.
• Understanding of AutoCAD and Blueprints.
• Understanding of PLC, HMI, Drives, Motors, etc.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and elements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical and mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct factory evaluation, testing, and troubleshooting of machines.
• Lead and support field commissioning and service to customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and operation of machines.
• Work closely with engineering, production, purchasing, sales, and management.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Prepare technical documentation and service reports.
• Implement safety standards and best practices in all engineering processes.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users and maintenance teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in machine operations & support.
