Job summary

INNIO Group is seeking an Onsite Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician in Utah to perform mechanical and electrical field service on Jenbacher gas engines, including commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Engines range from 0.25 to 9.5 MW and can run on natural gas or other gases. The role requires 4 years of reciprocating engine experience and relocation to the Salt Lake City area is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 years of reciprocating engine experience preferred.
• Experience as car mechanic, car electrician, and electrician.
• Mechanical Technician or higher.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (we will not sponsor visas).
• Living in the Salt Lake City area or willing to relocate there.

Responsibilities

• Execute service on the engines following maintenance protocol (oil checks, filter/valve replacements, measurements).
• Carry out minor repairs in addition to planned service.
• Execute major service in coordination with colleagues per protocol.
• Coordinate with external suppliers for specialized duties.
• Monitor activities to comply with EHS protocol.
