Job summary

Prysmian in Taunton, MA is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Equipment Technician for the 4th shift (7:30 pm – 7:30 am). You will diagnose downtime, perform preventive maintenance, and support continuous production reliability on critical lines.

You will operate lathes, mills, drill presses, and weld/pipefit as needed; follow ISO14001 safety practices, and use SAP for basic transactions. Must lift 50–75 lbs and be able to work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.
• Manufacturing experience preferred or proven mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, and install/dismantle machinery as needed.
• Weld and pipefit to support equipment reliability.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and other shop equipment independently.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, support continuous improvement, and keep the work area safe and orderly.
• Verify outputs meet the Plant’s Quality Management Systems requirements.
• Follow all safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.
• Work overtime or alternate schedules when required on short notice; perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide and maintain the necessary mechanics’ tools.
