Job Description:
Reporting to the Waterjet Engineering Manager, this Engineer will work with Waterjet and ATD teams in the design, development, implementation, and testing of machine hardware and software, the customization of existing machinery, and product advancement utilizing existing methodologies and materials as well as new technologies. Will research and analyze test data for existing as well as new or developmental equipment/processes and present findings in applicable formats.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, move throughout the facility, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and communicate. Will require the ability to use various size hand tools on a regular basis. Use of computer (typical 2-button scroll mouse and keyboard – 10% of the work day). The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds unassisted. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment may be loud. Must be able to use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
