Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 8–10 years hands-on electromechanical design experience.
• Experience using CAD tools for PCB and mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and high-volume production environments.
• Expertise in developing and executing test plans for functionality validation and reliability assessment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCB test boards and electromechanical devices for Advanced Packaging Technology development.
• Create product and test specifications based on requirements and lead design reviews.
• Develop manufacturing drawing packages for PCB and mechanical assemblies using CAD tools.
• Run feasibility studies and simulations to validate designs for function, reliability and safety.
• Select materials and manufacturing technologies to optimize electromechanical designs.
• Execute comprehensive test plans for electronic and mechanical interactions, including thermal cycling and dynamic analysis.
• Collaborate with thermal, mechanical, and systems engineers to optimize performance.
