Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Build & Test Technician (Starship Avionics) in Hawthorne. You will assemble PCB assemblies into chassis, build/test sub-assemblies, and support optical equipment integration in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include harness routing, vibration/thermal tests, and HASS testing. Candidates need basic electronics experience and tool proficiency; shifts include overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 1+ years of experience using mechanical hand tools.
• 1+ years of professional technician experience in electronics.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical/electrical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis.
• Build and test small electrical sub-assemblies.
• Build and test optical equipment.
• Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating.
• Run functional testing on units.
• Harnesses routing onto avionics assemblies.
• Support vibe and thermal development tests.
• Perform HASS testing of assemblies built in the area.
