Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA seeks an Avionics Development Specialist to design, document, build, and maintain hardware supporting HITL, hardware development, test, EEE, and EMI engineering across vehicle programs.

You will design test systems, harnesses, enclosures, and fixtures; perform PCBAs rework; support qualification campaigns; and develop production processes. Strong hands-on electronics and teamwork required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years electronics experience troubleshooting test systems or avionics hardware.
• Ability to design, document and build test systems and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics, BOMs, and drawings.
• Design and build harnessing and test fixtures for HITL and testing.
• Support qualification tests by setting up tests, running software, and interpreting reports.
• Diagnose HITL failures and perform repairs.
• Create documentation packages for existing designs.
