Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking an Assembly Technician for our New York City headquarters. You will perform final assembly of Wave Relay products, gaining exposure to the full assembly process and supporting quality and safety standards.

The role involves hands-on tasks and collaboration with a manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has experience in soldering, cable making, and electro-mechanical work, with strong manual dexterity and familiarity with standard office software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with assembly tools and materials; must have soldering and cable making experience.
• Strong electro-mechanical background.
• Experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment; electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks including soldering, crimping, cable-making and other general assembly work.
• Follow established processes to support final assembly of products.
• Assist with testing, evaluation, and deployment of products.
• Provide recommendations for process improvement.
