Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking an Assembly Technician (Electro-Mechanical) at our Milton, Vermont campus. You will assemble, wire, test and inspect hot runner controllers used in industry-leading injection molding systems, following schematics, drawings and procedures to ensure safe, high-quality equipment.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude who enjoy hands-on work with tools, following established processes, and building highly complex equipment in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Experience using hand and power tools and basic assembly equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and read basic wiring details.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, assembly drawings and work instructions to assemble and wire hot runner controllers.
• Perform wiring, installation and assembly of controllers.
• Conduct electrical and functional testing of completed systems to verify proper operation.
• Use hand tools, power tools and testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed assemblies, wiring, labels and components to ensure quality and conformance to specifications.
• Record production and quality data accurately.
• Troubleshoot assembly, wiring or testing issues and elevate concerns when appropriate.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, organized and safe condition.
• Communicate quality, equipment or assembly concerns to supervisors and team members.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production, quality and delivery objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
