Job summary

Brooks Automation in the United States is seeking an Engineer Technician - Electronic / Mechanical Assembly for an on-site contract role based out of our Fremont, CA location. You will work with engineering teams to design, build, test, and integrate electronic and mechanical systems, documenting work and maintaining build schedules aligned with project milestones.

• Minimum 4 years of semiconductor systems experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; familiarity with lab tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical research and analysis to support engineering projects.
• Design, develop, and test systems, equipment, and components.
• Build and test prototypes and assess performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and drawings.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot with engineers and teams.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate project tasks and resources.
• Stay up-to-date with engineering trends and best practices.
• Assemble modules and integrate systems; manage build processes and issues.
