Job summary

EnerSys is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our energy systems manufacturing team. You will assemble final and subassemblies according to drawings, read schematics, and ensure high-quality production.

The role requires basic mechanical/electrical aptitude and the ability to work across multiple assembly areas. Candidates should have 1-2 years of related experience, wiring and crimping skills, and the ability to follow wiring schematics and mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a related role.
• Wiring and crimping experience.
• Ability to follow wiring schematics.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and interconnect final assemblies and subassemblies using work instructions, drawings and schematics.
• Inspect own work and inspect work of others to ensure the reduction of defects and enhanced product quality.
• Identify differences in electronic or mechanical components.
• Work proficiently in multiple assembly areas.
• Demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Demonstrate ability to do crimping.
• Participate in cross-training of processes as assigned.
• Read and interpret bills of materials.
• Read and interpret schematics and assembly drawings.
