Job summary

Aleron is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician in Newton, MA for a 6-month contract. You will assemble electrical and mechanical components, read schematics, perform testing, and document results to ensure quality.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with cross-functional teams are essential. You will use wiring, soldering, crimping, and troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing setting with adherence to ISO/FDA-like quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience with hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, or industrial equipment.
• IPC certification and ERP experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components including wiring and connector installation.
• Read engineering drawings and BOMs to guide assembly.
• Perform functional testing, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain production records and report nonconformances per quality standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to improve processes.
